KUCCPS Has Placed You. Congratulations. Now Here Is What to Do Immediately.

You checked the portal. Your name is there. A university. A course. It feels real now.

Take a moment. You earned this.

But here is what most students do after seeing their placement. They celebrate. They tell everyone. And then they wait.

Do not wait. The students who move immediately are the ones who report to campus prepared, funded, and stress free. The ones who wait scramble in August wondering why their HELB has not been processed.

Here is exactly what to do right now.

1. Download and read your admission letter
Log into students.kuccps.net. Download your admission letter. Read every line. Confirm your name, course, institution, and programme code are correct. Any error must be reported to KUCCPS immediately.

2. Apply for funding through the HEF portal
Go to hef.co.ke. This is where you apply for your government scholarship and HELB loan. Do not assume the money will come automatically. You must apply. Students who do not apply do not get funded. Simple.

3. Get your KRA PIN
You need a KRA PIN to complete your HEF application and to access financial services as a student. If you do not have one, get it now. It is free and takes less than an hour online at itax.kra.go.ke.

4. Decide whether you want a transfer
Not happy with your course or institution? You have one month from placement results to apply for a transfer through the KUCCPS portal. That window does not wait.

5. Talk to BCH if you need help
KRA PIN. HELB application. KUCCPS transfer. We handle all three. Fast. Affordable. Done correctly the first time.
