SOMETHING REAL HAPPENED AT KABARAK UNIVERSITY ON FRIDAY
16th October 2026. Odel Conference Room 1. 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Forty-something students walked in. Most had never opened a terminal. Most had never pushed a commit to GitHub. Most had never written a prompt to an AI tool intentionally.
By 5:00 PM, they had done all three.
They built pages for a school called Eaglenest Academy — a school that does not exist — and made it look like it did. They used Git to version their work like professional developers. They used Gemini and Claude to think and build faster. They navigated the CLI without flinching.
That is not a small thing.
Thank you to GDG Kabarak University and Caleb Njogu for making this possible. Thank you to every student who showed up and stayed until the end.
This is what BCH does — in community sessions, in our academy, and in every system we build for clients.
BCH Web Development Academy — October Intake is open. Classes began today, Monday 19th October. Evening sessions. 12 weeks. Real projects.
