THE RAM WAS THERE THE WHOLE TIME
— Genesis 22:13 (NIV)
Abraham climbed that mountain prepared to lose everything. Three days of walking toward the most painful obedience a father could be asked to give.
And the entire time — the entire journey — the ram was already there.
Already caught in the thicket. Already prepared by God before Abraham took a single step up that mountain.
The provision preceded the trial.
God had already released the answer before Abraham fully understood the question.
That is the nature of the God we serve — He prepares the solution before you arrive at the problem.
The ram in your situation is not coming. It is already there.
The question Abraham's story asks you today is simple —
Have you looked up?
Father, You prepared the ram before Abraham left home. You have already prepared what I need before I arrived at this moment. Help me look up and find it. Amen.
In the situation where you feel most desperate today — look up.
Ask God to show you the provision that is already there that you may have been too focused on the problem to see.
